CABEL Partners traces its roots back to the 1920s with the establishment of FWA Eagar & Co by Frank William Austin Eagar in Manly, NSW. Frank, born in 1880, was a veteran of the South African Boer War and founded the firm around 1922 with a vision for trusted, community-oriented accounting services. Over the years, notable partners such as Eric Atkinson, Neville Higham, Walter Knox, Robert Knox, and Ross McKissock helped shape the firm’s reputation for quality and dependability.

Strategic Growth and Evolution
The formation of CABEL Partners in 2010 brought together the legacies of FWA Eagar & Co and Browne & Co, a firm founded by Phillip Browne in 1991. Since then, CABEL Partners has grown through a series of strategic acquisitions, including Alan Grevler & Associates (2011), W W Vick & Co and Roberts Nissen (2019), and Katz Watson (2022). But it was Ray Khalil’s and Stuart Cameron’s acquisition of the firm in 2017 that marked a new chapter, driving the firm forward with a fresh perspective, and transforming how we serve our clients.
